The NFL Munich Game 2026 is played on Sunday 15 November 2026 at 3:30 pm CET at the Allianz Arena, and tickets are sold out. As of 14 October 2026, nfl.com no longer offers a ticket. Official prices ranged from €83.59 to €413.75, all fees included. Any remaining seats go through official NFL channels.
Checked on against the official sources cited (nfl.com, City of Munich, Detroit Lions; Allianz Arena statement read in part).
You’re looking for a ticket to the NFL Munich 2026, and the game is sold out. The New England Patriots face the Detroit Lions at the Allianz Arena, on a Sunday in week 10 of the regular season. This guide covers what is still possible, the official prices, the route to Fröttmaning and what the city has planned that weekend.
1. Match weekend: Munich downtown

Fan Fest and Lions Fan Pub: downtown Munich runs on NFL time
Downtown Munich lives to the Lions’ rhythm all weekend. The official Fan Fest sets up on Odeonsplatz on Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November, from 11 am to 6 pm, with concerts from 5 pm: Kevin Saunderson on Friday, Big Sean on Saturday. Family games, photo spots, beer, food trucks and a shop are on the programme, according to the Detroit Lions announcement.
Highlights
- Odeonsplatz: official Fan Fest, Friday 13 and Saturday 14 November, 11 am to 6 pm
- Hofbräuhaus: Lions Fan Pub, 12 to 15 November, 11 am to midnight
- Theatinerstraße 11: Lions shop, 9 to 16 November, 10 am to 7 pm
On Sunday 15 November, there is no event around the stadium. According to an extract of the Allianz Arena statement (June 2026, partial reading), nothing is planned around the ground that day, and the NFL advises against turning up without a ticket. The animations therefore take place downtown.
A guided walk through the old town suits anyone discovering the centre for the first time. One catch: availability was only checked for 14 and 15 November, as of 14 October 2026. Book before you count on it.
To extend the stay, the Marienplatz Christmas market opens five days after the match, on 20 November. Its opening hours are listed in section 4.
2. Tickets: sold out, official channels first

What the official ticket office shows as of 14 October 2026
The match went on sale on 10 July 2026, according to the Allianz Arena and the City of Munich, and the allocation was gone within a few hours. A DAZN page gives 14 July: we retain the stadium and City date. As of 14 October, tickets and hospitality are no longer available on nfl.com, and the City of Munich describes the match as sold out.
- Purchase: six tickets maximum per account and per game. Purchases judged automated, or made with duplicate accounts, are cancelled.
- Delivery: digital tickets are sent by email up to 72 hours before the game.
- Children: free entry for under-2s, but their ticket is collected at the box office on match day.
Holiday packages are the other route. Elite Sports Travel offers a three-night package from 13 to 16 November that includes the official ticket, from £1,650 per person (checked 14 October 2026). SportsBreaks, Dertour and On Location are named by the NFL, but their November prices are not verified.

Source: nfl.com, 2026 sales windows (all-in prices), checked 14 October 2026. Tickets were no longer on sale on that date: the grid is a reference for comparison.
The price of an outing depends mainly on the category. Two adults in category 8 pay €167.18 in tickets; two adults in category 4 pay €467.50. For a resold ticket, compare the final price with the official grid, service fees included, before you pay.
3. Getting to the Allianz Arena from the centre, the airport and Paris
The Allianz Arena is in Munich-Fröttmaning, Werner-Heisenberg-Allee 25, north of the city. The metro is the simplest option, and the crowd concentrates on the way back. The table gives indicative times for each leg.
| Route | Mode | Approximate time | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Airport to Hauptbahnhof | S-Bahn S1 or S8 | about 40 min | munich-airport.com |
| Marienplatz to Fröttmaning | U6, towards Garching | 15 to 20 min | muenchen.de ; thematchmarker.com |
| Fröttmaning to the stadium | on foot | 10 to 15 min | muenchen.de ; thematchmarker.com |
| Paris-Est to Munich Hauptbahnhof | TGV INOUI, direct | about 5 h 40 | rail timetables (search) |
| Paris to Munich | nonstop flight | about 1 h 30 | aggregators (indicative) |
Sources: City of Munich, NFL Munich 2026 page, Munich airport, public transport and Match Marker, NFL Munich 2026 travel guide, checked 14 October 2026. Flight times are indicative.
From downtown: the U6 to Fröttmaning
From Marienplatz, take the U6 towards Garching-Forschungszentrum as far as Fröttmaning. The ride takes 15 to 20 minutes: the City of Munich says about 20 minutes, a travel guide about 16. On arrival, walk 10 to 15 minutes to the gates. After the final whistle, the station is very crowded; one guide describes a queue of 45 minutes or more on the way back. According to the FC Bayern page on match days, the arena opens 2 hours 15 minutes before kick-off, and payment is cashless. The 2026 opening times are not confirmed.
From the airport
S-Bahn lines S1 and S8 link the airport to Hauptbahnhof in about 40 minutes, with a train every 10 minutes when you combine both lines. From the central station, take the U6 towards Fröttmaning. No shuttle from downtown is confirmed for 2026.
From Paris
The nonstop flight takes about 1 hour 30 minutes depending on the airline (Lufthansa, Air France, Transavia), mainly from Paris Charles de Gaulle. Prices that aggregators show for November are often return trips with a stopover: compare on the airlines’ own websites. By train, the direct TGV INOUI links Paris-Est to Munich in about 5 hours 40. Additional direct services are announced from December 2026, with no official timetable checked.
Transport passes: don’t count on free travel
The City of Munich lists, for 2026, a 24-hour zone M pass at €10.10 and a single ticket at €4.20. Earlier editions of guides said the match ticket gave access to public transport; a 2026 guide says the opposite, and no official confirmation was found for this season. Buy a pass. The airport zone depends on the fare: check it when you buy.
By car: avoid it on match day
The stadium car park is paid, traffic is heavy on a match Sunday, and no 2026 parking rate is confirmed by an official source. Don’t take the amounts quoted in guides for granted.
Papers and border checks
Germany’s internal border controls have been in force since September 2024. The Federal Interior Ministry notified the European Commission of a six-month extension beyond 15 March 2026, to 15 September 2026, and the press reports that notification. According to a single press source (Bild, 25 August 2026), the extension would run to mid-March 2027; we have not confirmed that. Check the entry rules for your nationality and your passport before you travel.
Where to stay
Altstadt and Marienplatz are the most convenient and the most expensive. Hauptbahnhof makes airport links easy. Schwabing, to the north, gives direct access to the U6 towards the stadium, at more moderate prices. No source we checked confirms a hotel shortage for match weekend, and no verified rate for November 2026 was found: compare prices before you go. If you stay several days, Dachau is a possible day trip on Monday, without verified availability in this article.
4. The calendar around the match, October to December 2026
The match comes after the end of Oktoberfest on 4 October, and before the Christmas markets open on 20 November. The City has published a provisional Oktoberfest 2026 tally of about 7.4 million visitors, a record, but the figure is not final.

5. Budget: what to plan for two people
The budget has three items: the match, the trip and accommodation. The tickets and the transport pass are sourced. The trip from Paris and accommodation have no verified price for November 2026, so no amount is given.
- Match tickets: from €167.18 for two adults in category 8 to €827.50 for two adults in category 1, all fees included.
- Transport in Munich: 24-hour zone M pass at €10.10 (2026 fare, City of Munich). Two passes cost €20.20.
- Old town walking tour: €23 per adult, €46 for two, on 14 and 15 November, at the price checked on 14 October 2026.
- Trip from Paris: nonstop flight and direct TGV, with no verified price for November. Compare on the day you search.
The choice of category makes most of the difference: a category 8 seat costs about a fifth of a category 1 seat. Without a ticket, two 24-hour zone M passes cost €20.20 for two; accommodation stays unpriced for lack of a verified November rate.
6. Depending on your profile
- First time in Munich: arrive on Saturday, sleep downtown, and keep Sunday for the match.
- Families: under-2s enter free, but their ticket is collected at the box office on match day. The Odeonsplatz Fan Fest on Saturday afternoon, with its games, keeps children busy without a stadium ticket.
- Couples on a tight budget: a weekend without a ticket, built around the Odeonsplatz concerts and a guided walk, costs far less than category 1. Stay in Schwabing or near Hauptbahnhof.
- Reduced mobility: for wheelchair spaces, go through the NFL’s official ticket office. We could not confirm a dedicated line for 2026.
7. A possible Sunday, with or without a ticket
Here are two scenarios. They are suggested plans, not official timetables. The only sourced Sunday times are kick-off at 3:30 pm CET and the Lions’ activities, including the Fan Pub, open from 11 am to midnight.
- With a ticket: enjoy the morning downtown, then take the U6 from Marienplatz (see section 3). Arrive early enough for the gates. On the way back, allow time at the station.
- Without a ticket: morning in the old town, then back to the Hofbräuhaus for the Fan Pub. You can see the stadium from afar: no event is planned there on 15 November, according to the extract of the Allianz Arena statement.
8. Mistakes to avoid
Two field traps come on top of those covered in the previous sections.
- Reaching the station with no margin after the final whistle: the queue described by one guide reaches 45 minutes or more on the way back. Leave time before you set off.
- Planning to pay in cash: according to the FC Bayern page on match days, payment is cashless. That comes from the club, and the 2026 match-day times are not confirmed.
What other guides don’t tell you
Of the guides we read, only Match Marker describes the match and the stadium. Elite Sports Travel (packages) and Condor (flights) describe neither, and none covers the Lions’ events downtown. Some AI summaries claim a halftime show with Cage the Elephant, a stadium animation on match day and a « certified resale ». The sources back none of these. The confirmed events are downtown: the Lions’ Fan Fest and Fan Pub, listed by the Detroit Lions, checked on 14 October 2026.
Practical info for the weekend
The nonstop flight takes about 1 hour 30 minutes. Prices vary widely by date and airline: compare on the day of your search.
Price not verified for November 2026, shown by the search engineArriving late or with luggage? A private transfer avoids S-Bahn connections.
Price depends on the route and time, shown on the comparison siteFrequently asked questions about the NFL Munich 2026
When is the NFL Munich 2026 game?
The game is on Sunday 15 November 2026, with kick-off at 3:30 pm CET, which is 9:30 am in Detroit. The New England Patriots face the Detroit Lions in week 10 of the regular season. This information comes from the official NFL FAQ, checked 14 October 2026.
Can I still buy a ticket for the NFL Munich 2026?
Not on the official ticket office as of 14 October 2026: tickets and hospitality are no longer available on nfl.com, and the City of Munich describes the match as sold out. The few remaining seats go through official NFL channels. An Elite Sports Travel package includes the official ticket, from £1,650 per person for three nights. A third-party resale offer is neither official nor guaranteed, and purchases that break NFL rules are cancelled. We found no card presale for this game in the sources we checked.
How much do NFL Munich 2026 tickets cost?
Official 2026 prices, all fees included, range from €83.59 in category 8 to €413.75 in category 1. For children, the published prices range from €42.17 in category 8 to €117.93 in category 4. Under-2s enter free, but their ticket is collected at the box office on match day. The NFL limits purchases to six tickets per account and per game.
Is there a halftime concert at the match?
A halftime concert is mentioned on the City of Munich’s page, but nfl.com does not confirm it. An AI summary names Cage the Elephant, but we cannot say whether the show will take place. Don’t plan your arrival around it until the NFL or the broadcaster announces it.
How do I get to the stadium from central Munich?
Take the U6 from Marienplatz towards Garching-Forschungszentrum, to Fröttmaning station. Allow 15 to 20 minutes on the train, then 10 to 15 minutes on foot to the gates. After the final whistle the station is very busy, so leave a margin before you set off.
Is public transport free on match day?
We found no 2026 confirmation that a match ticket gives access to the MVV network. Earlier guides said it did, and a 2026 guide says it doesn’t. Buy a transport pass: the City of Munich lists a 24-hour zone M pass at €10.10 and a single ticket at €4.20, 2026 fares. No shuttle from downtown is confirmed for 2026.
Are there events around the stadium on match day?
No. According to an extract of the Allianz Arena statement (June 2026, partial reading), nothing is planned around the ground on 15 November, and the NFL advises against turning up without a ticket. The Lions’ events take place downtown: Fan Fest at Odeonsplatz on 13 and 14 November, and Fan Pub at the Hofbräuhaus from 12 to 15 November.
What’s the weather like in Munich in mid-November?
Expect around 1 to 7 °C, with cold nights: it gets dark around 5 pm. Rain or sleet is possible: about half the days of the month have measurable precipitation, according to NOAA data for the Nymphenburg station (third-party source, to be confirmed with the DWD). Pack warm layers for a late-afternoon match.
Do I need a passport to go to Munich?
A passport is the safest document. Germany’s internal border controls have been in force since September 2024, and the press has reported an extension without official confirmation. Traveller reports say some ID cards are not accepted the same way by every authority, so carry a passport that is valid for your whole stay.
